The electrician is here and is wasting no time. Also on site is the windows guy from Harare doing his measurements which he wants to take back to Harare for the order. Great relief this week. After long timber delays due to weather conditions ​and supplier issues, the roof finally goes up. Things are looking up. It feels like we have a homestead. The roofed house certainly gives that vibe. The kids get their first visit. We see our upcoming banana field. We are ​f​irst-timers in the game, feels good to see banana plants coming up. This week, a major milestone was achieved. We beat the rains. The bricks look good. The outhouse is ready, shower & toilet. ​We are on the move. The village farm brick molding sub-project begins. We have a short window to get this done before the rains arrive. If the rains catch us, the entire road map shall be in disarray. At least the toilet bricks have a head start.
